Survey is CLOSED - New Student Enrollment for 2020-2021 - Choice Application
THANK YOU TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED, THE SURVEYS ARE CLOSED. (11/5/2020)
The survey is now open for parents to submit a School Choice Application for 2020-2021. Parents of students that are not yet enrolled in the Suwannee County School District can use the link below to tell us which elementary school they'd like to attend next year. We are excited that many of our Suwannee County parents are interested in planning for enrollment in 2020-2021 based on the new opportunities that will be given to our students with the new themed elementary schools.
Availability of program space at the time of actual enrollment will determine the school programs that are available to your children.
Enrollment packets for the 2020-2021 school year can be printed from the website or picked up at any of our school offices.
The survey does not take the place of the enrollment process.
There is additional information below specific to VPK and Kindergarten.
2020-2021 VPK Enrollment Process
VPK Enrollment Process
For the 2020-2021 School Year, VPK will be offered at each of the three Live Oak Elementary Schools. This year, when a parent enrolls a student in the VPK program, they will also need to indicate a first, second, and third choice for building location.
Students that are in VPK at a given school will automatically be placed in the same school's Kindergarten program the following year. This will allow for seven years of consistent elementary education in one building - the biggest benefit of the new configuration project.
Beginning on April 1st, VPK enrollment for 2020-2021 will begin at the current Suwannee Primary School. Once a student is enrolled, the parent will be given information on how to access the online application to choose one of the three elementary sites.

Thank you to all parents that submitted a School Choice Application!
The initial application closed at midnight on 2/1/2020, and we received over 1000 student applications. (The deadline was extended 24 hours to make up for a 4 hour closure on 1/31/2020.) We are currently looking at the received applications and beginning to plan for school assignments. As soon as we have an anticipated date of notification, it will be posted on this website. The goal is to let families know as soon as possible.
A "Second Chance" to submit an application is being posted on this website to try and assist those that still have not selected a school program. The second chance application will close on 2/17/2020. Parents that have already submitted an application should not complete a second chance survey, your child's application is already being processed. If you know someone that forgot to submit an application, please encourage them to go into the system and let us know where they'd like their child to be placed.
