The Suwannee County School District held the 2022 District Spelling Bee on January 20, 2022 in the School Board Office.
After 9 rounds of competition, Addison Webb, from Westwood Christian School, defeated Bella Hobday, from Branford High School, to be crowned District Champion with Hobday claiming the runner up title.
The following students represented their school as champion:

After winning the spelling bee, Webb says, “I was really nervous and shaken up, but I am happy I won.”
Webb will represent the Suwannee County School District at the 78th Annual First Coast Regional Spelling Championship on Friday, April 1, 2022.
