PAL/Title I Summer Program students continue to learn about the seven different continents with today taking them to Asia.
Students read books on Asian culture, tried authentic Chinese food, and listened to a special guest speaker, Robbie Bosserman, talk about his experience in Asia.
Bosserman lived in South Korea for two and a half years as a pilot for the Army.
Bosserman, in addition to speaking on Asia's culture, spoke to the students about the keys to success. Bosserman urged the students to build a solid foundation for their life and begin working on their personal character and integrity.
Bosserman said to "Make a plan, show up early, and work hard and you will be on your way to finding success." Bosserman left the students with one more inspirational quote by telling the students, "Do not be afraid of failure, be afraid of not trying."
Thank you to Mr. Bosserman for taking time out of his very busy schedule to talk with the kids and open their minds to other cultures.
