Suwannee County School Distrcit sent 14 math teachers to this year’s National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Regional Conference in Orlando from October 18-20 to gain knowledge for improving math instruction in our District.

Our District math scores significantly improved last year as a result of the work of these fine math teachers.

The following teachers from all 7 county schools made the trip:

SPS:  Melissa Bozeman and Kerry Melland

SES:  Jennifer Hitt and Brittany Shearer

SIS:  Krystal Cundiff and Mary Kinard

SMS:  Karen Braun and Toni Mace

SHS:  Kimberly Tuvell
