Branford High School went to Orlando, Florida on January 12 and 13 to take part in the BETA Club State of Florida Convention.

BHS had five students place in the top state level:

Barrett Young - Placed first in Agriculture Division 1

James Corbin - Placed third in Agriculture Division 2

Luke Ramsey - Placed third in Division 1 History

Alivya Ward  - Placed second in Water Color category of Visual Arts

AnneMarie Kuczynski-Rinard - Placed second in Painting of Visual Arts

These students will go on to represent BHS at the National BETA Convention on June 17-20, 2018.

BHS BETA Club sponsor Dawn Eakins says they will be hosting fundraisers to get the students to the national convention
