Congratulations to the Branford High School FFA Chapter on being named as the national winner of the 2021 National FFA Premier Chapter Award: Growing Leaders.
After being honored as one of "Florida's Finest Chapters" through an application process in June, BHS FFA advanced to national judging, where their application was named as both a 3-Star National Chapter Award winner, and a national finalist for the National Premier Chapter Award for leadership-related activities.
BHS FFA then completed a virtual presentation in September, covering their "A-maze-ing Education" project, where they grew and constructed a corn maze and used it to teach elementary students about agriculture.
Finalists were recognized on stage during the Fourth General Session of the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo on October 29, where they were announced as the national winners.
