Sabal Trail, in partnership with RIVEROAK Technical College (RTC), has established a scholarship program for students attending RTC.

Sabal Trail believes in supporting RTC in the local community because RTC provides educational programs that can lead to energy infrastructure careers or aid in bolstering community vitality in the area.

The scholarship is to provide financial assistance for students to become skilled technical workers. The scope of this scholarship program is spread out over four years and provides one scholarship per year to each of RTC’s 17 programs.

Director of Career, Technical, and Adult Education of RTC Walter Boatright says, "We are extremely honored that Sabal Trail has selected RIVEROAK Technical College to provide scholarships to 17 deserving students each year for the next four years.  Certainly, these scholarships will ease the financial burden for many students enabling them to focus more on their programs of study."
