Suwannee Academic Boosters (SAB) held a luncheon at RIVEROAK Technical College on March 21 honoring Suwannee High School (SHS) students for their outstanding ACT, SAT, PSAT, and PreACT exam scores.
SAB President John Hendrick welcomed those at the luncheon with Suwannee County School Board Member Jerry Taylor acknowledging the students and their success.
The students recognized were Timothy Choe, Christian Dixon, Matthew Dixon, Kaleb Dye, Alexis Fletcher, Jessica Girard, Jamie Good, Daniel Hendrick, William Howell, Kaleb Lane, Natalie Lord, Logan Martin, Alexandor McMillan, Monica Ramirez, Steven Roddenberry, Emelia Rodriguez, Jaelen Tucker, and Brant Ulmer.
The keynote speaker for the luncheon was Kelly Renfroe. Renfroe is a SHS graduate and an active member of the Live Oak community. Renfroe stressed the importance of volunteering and getting involved in the community. SHS Principal Malcolm Hines echoed Renfroe’s message and added that students need to make the most of their opportunities.
