RIVEROAK Technical College (RTC) students traveled on February 24 to Jacksonville and Starke to take part in the SkillsUSA Region 2 Competition.

RTC sent students from the culinary arts, masonry, welding, electrical, and auto service programs to Starke, Florida, on February 23. In total, RTC sent 40 participants. The following students placed at the competition:

Mizael Campos (Welding) - 3rd Place for Post-Secondary

Jacob Arbanas (Electricity) - 1st Place for Post-Secondary

Bryce Walker (Electricity) - 2nd Place for Post-Secondary

Colten Crews (Electricity) - 1st Place for Secondary

Robert Cockburn (Electricity) - 3rd Place for Secondary

Jakob Hulub (Carpentry) - 1st Place for Secondary

Gregory Ivie (Carpentry) - 1st Place for Post-Secondary

Josh Pettygrew (Auto Service) - 1st Place for Post-Secondary

Cason Adams (Culinary Arts) - 3rd Place in Culinary for Secondary

Tre Warren (Culinary Arts) - 3rd Place in Restaurant Serving for Secondary

Kathleen Ragus (Culinary Arts) - 1st Place in Baking for Post-Secondary

Dixie Randolph (Culinary Arts) - 1st Place in Culinary for Post-Secondary
