The Suwannee County School District held its district spelling bee on January 23, 2020 in the SCSD Board Room.
The following individuals represent their school as champions at the district spelling bee:
Isabella Hobday – Branford Elementary School
Ainsley Irby – Branford High School
Edwin Suggs – Suwannee Intermediate School
Dusty Wardrep – Suwannee Middle School
Alexis Brown – Melody Christian Academy
Camron Wilson – Westwood Christian Academy
Hobday from BES was crowned the district champion with Wadrep from SMS placing second.
Hobday will represent the Suwannee School District at the 76th Annual First Coast Regional Spelling Championship on Tuesday, February 27, 2020.
