Healthy Schools LLC, in cooperation with The Suwannee County School District and the Suwannee County Department of Health, is excited to kick off the “Teach Flue a Lesson” Program for 2017!

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) do no recommend using the flu mist as a vaccine, so the only vaccine available for this year will be administered by injection. Healthy Schools LLC trained and skilled staff of nurses will be providing this pediatric recommended flu vaccine at Live Oak schools on October 27. Branford schools will vaccinate the students on November 1.
