Superintendent Jerry Scarborough has announced that due to pending unsafe weather conditions and the threat of severe weather, the Suwannee County School District is closing school district operations for all students and employees for Friday, October 7. Please check individual school Facebook pages for information on scheduled events.

Information regarding shelter operations will be made by the Suwannee County Emergency Operations center. Please call (386) 330-3500, or find Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office-Division of Emergency Management on Facebook for shelter information.

The District will keep parents informed through our District webpage at www.suwannee.k12.fl.us, the district-wide parent call-out system, local radio station WQHL FM 98.1, and other news media. Please stay tuned for further information through these information outlets.
