The 2018 Torch Run was held the morning of April 17, 2018 at Suwannee High School (SHS).

Various law enforcement groups were present during the torch run including the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Florida Department of Corrections.

According to School Resource Officer Sergeant Lee Willis 200 participants ran including students, teachers, parents, and law enforcement officers.

Lee said, "This year’s Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics was possible because of how our community comes together to support our awesome kids. It wouldn't be possible without our partnership with out local and state law enforcement agencies, the Suwannee County School District and our local businesses that work together for the benefit our these kids."
