September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The link below is to a video about suicide awareness and prevention for youth. It includes information and insight that can save a life. Please be aware before you watch the video that it discusses the sensitive topic of suicide.

At the end of the video, you will see the number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It’s a great resource. However, if you are worried about a young person in your life, you can also contact their school counselor, your student’s teacher, the school nurse, an administrator at your child’s school or me.
