SHS’s Career and Technical Education teachers spent their January PD day touring the Georgia-Pacific Foley Plant in Perry, FL.

The trip included an overview of the plant including a question and answer session about the types of education needed for students to gain meaningful employment at Georgia-Pacific in the future.

This is one of the many ways the CTE teachers at SHS are thinking outside the box and gaining partnerships with local businesses to help students on the path to an amazing future.
