The Live Oak Fire Department (LOFD) joined the PAL/Title I Summer Program and their students on June 21 for an interactive demonstration at the Douglas Center.
Students were able to sit in an ambulance and learn about what goes on inside the ambulance.
LOFD also brought along a fire truck, and the students were able to spray water to simulate fighting an actual fire.
The students then moved inside the Douglas Center gym for LOFD to demonstrate how to strap someone on to a back board.
