Suwannee Intermediate School would like to thank Mr. Will Straling with the City of Live Oak Fire Department for coordinating the student visit held on yesterday.  These students were given the challenge to refrain from behavior issues in efforts to attend a given field trip. These students met the challenge and were excited about attending the Fire Department. The students had the opportunity to speak with the Fireman about making good decisions and setting goals.  The students were also able to have a hands on experience with the jaws of life equipment and other necessary tools to perform the task of a Fireman.  I would also like to thank the men of SIS for assisting with these efforts.
