Suwannee High School (SHS) students carved pumpkins in their Pumpkin Lab on October 26 and 27.
Students learned about pumpkins and their classifications, reproduction methods and plant anatomy. SHS FFA Advisor Sarah Trimm rewarded the group with the best designed pumpkin with lunch.
The winners were: Madyson Tompkins, Beverly Gilbert, Cheyenne Markham, and Paola Castillo. These ladies carved the pumpkin that is eating the smaller pumpkin.
Trimm says, “Great job to all of my students. I look forward to this fun, educational lab next year.”
