The Branford High School (BHS) coding team traveled to Stetson University on November 18, 2017 to take part in a coding competition.

The BHS coding team members are Makyah Burnett, Jessica Childs, and Philip Maddox. Students had eight questions in total to answer. This was the first time BHS has participated however the students and their coach Tammy Neil hope to take part in another competition in march at the University of Central Florida.

In addition to taking part in the competition, students on the team received a scholarship to Stetson worth $8,000.
