The Suwannee Academic Boosters (SAB) recognized Suwannee High School (SHS) students for their advance placement (AP) academic success on October 27, 2017 at RIVEROAK Technical College.

Students received a lunch compliments of the Culinary Arts Program of RIVEROAK Technical College (RTC).

The guest speaker for the luncheon was Sherman Riley. Riley graduated from SHS in 2000 and went on to graduate from Florida State University with an industrial engineering degree. Riley spoke about facing adversity and not letting set back deter you from your goal.

SAB board member John Hendrick and SHS Assistant Principal Tammy Boggus handed out gift certificates to the students to reward them for their academic success.
