Suwannee High School (SHS) FFA sent three representatives to the District 3 competition in Williston on January 18.

Lexi Fletcher (Extemporaneous Public Speaking), Sarah Beth Lee (Prepared Public Speaking), and Katelyn Floyd (Creed Speaking) earned the right to advance on to districts after placing first at Sub-Districts in December.

At districts, Floyd finished third, Lee finished second, and Fletcher took home first place. With her first place finish at districts, Floyd now will prepare to compete at the State FFA Convention in June.

SHS FFA Advisor Sarah Trimm says, “We are extremely proud of these humble ladies and their willingness to represent Suwannee County with poise and dignity.”
