Branford Elementary School (BES) held a career day on their campus the morning of December 20.
Approximately 30 different booths were set up for various employers including Florida Highway Patrol, Florida’s Game and Fish Commission, and a naval pilot. Booths were set up in classrooms and outside for demonstrations.
BES administration says they want to give their students a chance to see all the available jobs they can be. BES Principal Jennifer Barrs says, “Career day at BES is one way to expand our student's knowledge about possible career options. Even at this young age we need to encourage children to think about their future. We would like to thank all of our career professionals for taking time out of their busy schedules to make this day a great success.”
