Suwannee High School (SHS) Interact Club and Live Oak Rotary members handed out dictionaries to Suwannee Elementary School (SES) third graders on September 30.

According to Interact Sponsor, Jeff Lee, Interact has provided dictionaries the last five years to third graders. The dictionaries are the students to keep and use. Twenty-six SHS Interact students distributed the dictionaries, and explained to the students what Interact does as a club. In total, over 400 dictionaries were given out.

Lee says, “Interact and Rotary share the same motto in ‘service above self’. The dictionary project is a prime example of a service we provide to the community.”
